After growing up on the Central Coast, Tara graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2008. She has a special interest in the management of sporting injuries and spinal pain, through the use of both manual techniques and exercise. Since graduating, Tara has worked at Royal North Shore Hospital where she rotated through various fields such as neurological, respiratory and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, including orthopaedics and rehabilitation. During this time she also gained experience in post natal and paediatric physiotherapy.

Tara has been involved in several local sporting clubs, having been a swimmer and netball player and a competing member of Wamberal Surf Club for 12 years. This has instilled her keen interest in sports injuries and exercise based rehabilitation. Tara now enjoys the outdoors, having completed several hiking trips throughout Central America, Asia and recently the Kokoda Trail. Tara is currently the consulting physiotherapist with the Avoca Beach Rugby Club.
